Ideal Nashville Weekend Trip Itineraries: Options for Everyone

Planning a trip to a city can be overwhelming especially if you have never been there before. With a city like Nashville there is a ton to do which makes it hard to chose what to see while you are here. This however, also means there are options and experiences for everyone. We put together three ideal Nashville weekend trip itineraries to completely erase the planning stress.

The three different itineraries below are for groups with different interests that you can stick to or mix and match as you plan your trip. To simplify, we fit these itineraries to a weekend trip where you would arrive Thursday evening and leave town on Sunday; giving you all of Friday and Saturday to explore. These days can be adapted to any time during the week and of course extended however you desire.

The itineraries are split into 3 categories: Wild, Moderate and Mild. They range from a group looking for a more low key trip with the Mild category to those who want to party the whole time they are here with the Wild category. The Moderate category is somewhere in the middle of these two for those who want to party a little bit but still relax.

1. Wild: For those looking to party from the first minute they arrive

Friday:
Breakfast or Brunch: Big Bad Breakfast
Morning: Hillsboro Village
Lunch: Double Dogs in Hillsboro Village
Afternoon: Party Bus
Dinner: Anywhere downtown!
Evening to night: Lower Broadway

Saturday:
Brunch: Susy Wong’s Drag’n Brunch
Morning to Afternoon: Fifth + Broadway
Lunch: Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway (Check out the Pharmacy)
Afternoon: 6th and Peabody
Dinner: Wildhorse Saloon
Evening to night: Lower Broadway

With an itinerary like this, you will be partying from the moment you land until you leave. Big Bad Breakfast has great food and incredible drinks. A party bus is the epitome of a Nashville party and there are so many to chose from. Fifth + Broadway is beautiful and the Food Hall has a ton of options. 6th and Peabody is the perfect spot to enjoy some moonshine or a beer flight and catch live music. On Broadway there is a party and un unforgettable experience waiting for you in each bar.

2. Moderate: For those looking to party and relax

Friday:
Breakfast or Brunch: Big Bad Breakfast
Morning: 12 South shops and murals
Lunch: Restaurant on 12 South, try the 12 South Taproom & Grill
Afternoon: White Limozeen at the Graduate Hotel
Evening to night: Dinner at Wildhorse Saloon and then to Lower Broadway

Saturday:
Breakfast or Brunch: Ruby Sunshine or Biscuit Love
Morning: Hillsboro Village
Lunch: Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway
Afternoon: Fifth + Broadway shops
Evening to night: Grand Ole Opry

The Moderate itinerary is really the ideal trip with something for everyone. You get plenty of shopping and local sights with a little party as well. Be sure to check out Jeni’s Ice Cream either in Hillsboro Village or on 12 South. White Limozeen is the most gorgeous Dolly Parton themed bar and restaurant that allows you to look out on the city. A night at the Opry is an unforgettable experience that all ages and interests will enjoy. You still get to experience Nashville at night and one night on Broadway will be more than enough party.

3. Mild: For those who want to calmly explore

Friday:
Breakfast or Brunch: Big Bad Breakfast
Morning: Trolley tour of the city
Lunch: Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway
Afternoon: Grab a drink on a rooftop on Lower Broadway
Dinner: Anywhere of your choosing! There are several options at the Opry Mills Mall
Evening to night: Grand Ole Opry show

Saturday:
Breakfast or Brunch: Green Hills Grille
Morning: Marathon Village
Lunch: Any restaurant on 12 South, we recommend the 12 South Taproom & Grill
Afternoon: 12 South shops and murals
Late Afternoon to Evening: Arrington Vineyards

The Mild itinerary is the perfect way to see the city, visit the historic sights and leave with unforgettable memories. A trolley tour is the perfect way to see all the sights in the city especially if mobility limits are a considerations. Going to Broadway earlier in the day will allow you to still see the lights without all the people that come at night. Marathon Village is built inside an old car factory and the stores are surrounded by old factory equipment and old cars. 12 South has some of the best restaurants and stores in the city all in one spot. Arrington Vineyards is built on a gorgeous farm where you can spend quality time with family and friends without the bustle of the city.
